My name is Keir Venable, professionally known as Venny, the owner/operator of Roach Motels, LLC.  The Roach Motel ashtray compliments all smokers as the perfect accessory. From blunts to cigarettes; from rolling papers to black and mild’s; and everything in between, the Roach Motel ashtray is for you.  As a Twenty-year cannabis user, there was nothing better than smoking a roach blunt. A “roach” is a smoked blunt or joint that has been put out after being lit.  A “roach blunt” is when you take those “roaches” and combine them to make a whole new blunt or joint.  It was often a combination of different strains built up over time, giving you different flower notes throughout the whole blunt. Roach blunts tend to last a little longer, but actually rolling the roach blunt was the absolute worst.  Digging thru the ashes of whatever is being used for an ashtray; cleaning the roach off before unrolling it; your hands would be filthy from breaking down all the roaches.  No matter how great the finished product, getting to it was a nightmare.   

On May 15th, 2017, the Roach Motel ashtray was born. 

After doing a lot of research, there was nothing like it in the market, making the Roach Motel the first ashtray in the world with a storage compartment.  After going from prototype to manufacturing, there was a lot learned about the benefits of a Roach Motel.  With this model, you have your own personal ashtray.  It fits in pockets and purses, making it the perfect ashtray for any smoker at home or on the go.  Just ash it, then stash it.
